It was in 1970 that the Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha was formed with the aim and objective to broaden the scope of education in various faculties. The Sanstha presently runs various institutes ranging from pre-primary to post-graduate level courses in various faculties like Medical, Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Physical education, Arts, Commerce, Science, to name a few. What began off at a barren rocky hill in the village of Wanadongri just a decade ago, has now transformed into the Mecca of education, all thanks to the constant and consistent efforts by which the Sanstha today is proud to have 2,200 skilled and qualified employees.
Moreover, adequate infrastructural facilities and highly motivating work atmosphere are the highlights of the founder, Hon'ble Shri Datta Meghe, Member of Parliament and Ex-minister, Maharashtra State, the Sanstha has reached the pinnacle of success. Today Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha is a well known name both in the country and abroad for its services in advancement of youth education, with the active support from Shri Sagarji Meghe, Secretary, Shri Sameer Meghe, Treasurer and other members of the management. The Sanstha has also directly and indirectly supported the Government in implementing its policies of self employment. |

Today the Institute ranks among the top Diploma Institutes in Maharashtra providing Diploma in Pharmacy education. Its mission is to provide holistic Pharmacy education by innovating methods of teaching through highly qualified & experienced teaching staff, well supported by non-teaching staff. MISSION
The Institute's mission is to provide the students self employment oppurtunities by starting their own pharmacy, chemist and druggist stores, repacking unit or cosmetic industry. It ought to assist students in finding suitable placement in hospitals, Pharmaceutical Industries as Pharmacist or Medical representatives. Moreover, it ought to offer the student an optimal learning environment to nurture personal and professional development, in order to create a competent, caring and responsible citizen.
Location
The Institution is situated on a green hillock of Wanadongari, with ample space and facilities for present and future developments. About 19 experienced and qualified employees with 120 students every year make up the family of the Institution. Since 1982, students have been securing meritorious position in the examinations conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, M.S. As a result of this either most of the students are taken up by various Government or Non-Government agencies to work as Pharmacists or are self employed.
